Your Responsibilities
Never Share Your PIN
Not with friends, family, or anyone claiming to be from Zimba. We'll NEVER ask for your PIN.
Use Strong PINs
Avoid 1234, your birthday, or other obvious numbers. Mix it up.
Keep Your Phone Locked
Enable screen lock on your device. If someone steals your phone, they still can't access Zimba.
Monitor Your Account
Check your transaction history regularly. Report anything suspicious immediately.
Download Official App Only
Get Zimba from Google Play or App Store. Fake apps are a real danger.
🚨 Common Scams to Avoid
Fake Customer Support Calls
Scammers call pretending to be Zimba staff asking for your PIN or to "verify" your account. Hang up and call our official number.
Phishing SMS/WhatsApp
Messages with links claiming your account is "locked" or you've "won a prize." Don't click. We only send plain text alerts.
"Help Me Send Money" Requests
Someone asks you to send them money and they'll "pay you back double." Classic scam. Just block them.
Fake Loan Offers
"Pay UGX 50,000 first to release your loan." Zimba NEVER asks for upfront fees. Report these immediately.
